Have you ever been frustrated at a job fair and felt that you didn’t get anything out of it but candy and leaflets? Recruitment events are old fashioned and real connections are made far too rarely. We want to change that. We need an innovative and user-friendly solution to attract new job applicants in a company’s stand at career fairs.
We wish to make the job application process as smooth and pleasant as possible for the candidates. The goal is that the candidates don’t need to do double work or remember to send the companies the application afterwards. The users of the solution are university students and other candidates at recruitment events. And of course the companies HR team members too.
Eatech is an agile software company that focuses on offering customer-specific software solutions and continuous services. Our expertise covers the entire software life cycle from the idea up to maintenance. We are continuously looking for new professionals to support our growth. The strongest need is for software developers, coding project managers, test engineers, and system specialists.
We are planning to test the solution at the upcoming Yrityspäivät 2017 job fair.
The current job application processes can be confusing and job fairs often don’t really add value to neither the visitors nor the companies. Instead of making real human connections and enabling follow-ups the candidates and companies forget about each other soon after the event.
There are no fixed and exact specifications for the functionality. And we do not want to predefine the implementation methods. Almost anything is possible!
We hope to find a team who can explore the user needs, design the concept with marketing and user experience in mind, and create the tool with modern implementation methods. We are looking for students with interest in service design, user experience, graphical design, marketing and software development.
